ENHUEX is an engineering firm. We build decision support systems for complex operations — turning operational data into clear, reliable decisions when the cost of getting it wrong is high.
Our work spans the full operational lifecycle. We deliver pre-deployment analysis and roadmaps before major capital commitments. We develop optimization methods and engineering tools for deployed operations. And we build real-time decision support for environments where operator performance determines the outcome. Our R&D is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory.
The firm is founder-led by design. Every engagement and every system we build is led by the senior engineer on the work, so the engineering under a decision reflects the judgment of the person who built it — not a handoff to a junior analyst after the contract is signed. It is a structure that fits the kind of problems we take on, and it is how we intend to keep working.
Founder
ENHUEX is led by Thanuka Wickramarathne, PhD, whose technical work spans statistical signal processing, sensor fusion, and the design of systems that support human decision-making under uncertainty. That work has run through defense, healthcare, and critical operations — building the methods that sit between raw sensor data and the decisions operators and analysts have to make in real time. The move to ENHUEX was a direct extension of that thread: the same engineering discipline, applied to the capital, operational, and mission decisions where the cost of getting it wrong is highest.
